Throughout the week i have been a little disappointed with some of the speeches that have been made. For example, Mrs. Obama's speech lasted eight minutes and her best lines didn't even come from her. The speech that senator Obama gave on Thursday was not terribly impressive. It seems as if he was more concerned in bashing McCain than addressing the issues presented before him. For example, "It's not because John McCain doesn't care. It's because John McCain doesn't get it." When Senator Obama made statements such as this personally i feel that the example he gave were inadequate.
Aside from this, the reaction that he got from the crowd was impressive. For one person to not even make a speech yet and have that much of an effect on people is something that i find astounding. Whether or not i agree with some of the points that were made Thursday night i must say that he had a good presentation. I think that he could easily have amassed a crowd three times the amount of what he had.
