Throughout generations there have been a numerous amount of texts that are considered educational as well as non educational. Almost all texts have some sort of educational value. Whether or not it is something you are interested in learning is the question that the reader must ask themselves.
For example, a sign on the side of the road is something that most people are going to see as they drive by. If it is a speed limit sign or a billbord advertising the new powerball amount it is still trying to send a message. Even if you do not like the message that it is trying to tell you, you are still learning and sometimes retaining that information. That is the point of educating people whether it happens by book or not. I personally feel that there is no text that is not educational.
